Are you 70.5? Here's how to make charitable contributions from an IRA
If you have a Traditional IRA, are at least 70.5 years old, and want to give charitably, then a Qualified Charitable Distribution, or QCD, could be great for you!
By making QCDs you can give directly to charitable institutions from your IRA without recognizing the income. This is one way that we serve clients when we think about tax planning.
