Budgeting is a skill like most other things in life. Living on a budget takes time, practice, and a good bit of failure. As you create a budget and plan for spending one important reminder is that the best tool for your budget is the one that keeps you on a budget.
Some folks will do really well with a spreadsheet where they track every dollar spent. Others need the accountability of an app. Others might need a coach or a friend that has view access to their transactions to hold them accountable.
